Brisbane Floods
Posted on 13-Jan-2011
The big wet let loose this week on Brisbane and South East Queensland. Our thoughts go out to those who have lost homes and businesses in the past week. While it's been a tense 48 hours waiting to determine the extent of the impending flooding in Brisbane, Skyline Apartments is one of the lucky buildings unaffected by flood waters and all stays and business is continuing.
We do have some interruption to email access for all properties due to the closure of our Head Office in Eagle Street, but we hope to have this rectified as quickly as possible. If you need to enquire at any of our properties or reach our staff at Head Office, please do so via phone - all our contact numbers are listed on the Contact Page of the website.
For those of you unfamiliar with the region, our Gold Coast properties are totally unaffected by flood waters and from all accounts, the weather is sunny and hot. The Brisbane Airport is fully operational and roads to the Gold Coast from the airport are open. So if you have a holiday planned with us over the next week or two, rest assured that your stay will be comfortable, dry and uninterrupted by events in Brisbane.
Again, Skyline Apartments is unaffected by flood waters and is still accessible to all guests (current and future) and business is continuing as usual.
Brisbane and surrounds will no doubt be banding together in the coming weeks and months to facilitate a return to all the things people love about the city. We look forward to seeing you at Skyline and of course all our properties on the Gold Coast and Sydney in 2011.
