Want to be part of Brisbane's history?
Be in Brisbane this July be part of the Queensland Music Festival opening and take part in the Guinness World Record attempt to have the World's Largest Orchestra play at Suncorp Stadium.
On July 13th the action begins in the city centre at King George Square where more than 1200 trumpeters will form the Largest Trumpet Ensemble (gates open at 11am) - these dedicated performers will march through the streets of Brisbane’s CBD including Queen Street mall and then across to the main event at Suncorp Stadium where they will join thousands of others musicians to take part in the World's Biggest Orchestra title attempt.
Currently Canada's Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and students hold the record that they set in May 2000.  Don't miss out on the action - even if you can't play an instrument you can support the record attempting event by purchasing your entry pass through ticketek and be part of the audience.  Gates open at Suncorp Stadium at 1pm with the main event scheduled for 3pm.
Mint Brisbane  has limited apartments remaining on this event date and is within 10 minutes’ walk of King George Square where the day’s event begins. Book quickly if you would like to be part of this record breaking attempt.

Annual getaway

Our second stay here, great location. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Some wear and tear in the rooms on corners and walls , but found that you relaxed and weren't worried about it at all . The cleanliness was more important, which was very good. All you need for a great holiday. Pool area is nice with a spa and sauna. Additional Questions: • How d..
